When will the the course start?

It will commence on Monday 19 March 6.30 pm and will be held every Monday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 pm for a duration of 6 weeks.

Who is this course best suited to?

This course is suitable for learners who have no previous knowledge of Italian or students who have previously studied Italian at an elementary level and want to revise the basics.

What is covered in the course?

The objective of the course is to introduce you to the foundations of the Italian language and equip you with the basic grammar and vocabulary to communicate on an elementary level. A communicative approach is adopted to teaching that will help you develop your fluency. The four macroskills of listening, speaking, reading and writing are focused upon in the course

Will I learn anything about the Italian culture?

This course does have an entertaining cultural component that will cover aspects such as history, cuisine, music and popular Italian culture.

Will I have to do an exam?

There is no exam at the end of this course. You will be awarded a Certificate of Completion if your attendance is 80% or above.
